Veteran UK producer, Zoutr, is proud to present his debut solo release, DXST. Having spent the best part of the last two decades as one half of lauded Nottingham production duo, The Elementz, Zoutr is no stranger to the UK scene, in hip hop and beyond.

His forte for sample heavy, often moody beats come to the fore on this new project, which ostensibly serves as both an introduction and a showcase. Part beat tape, part rap record, DXST brings a much-needed feeling of hope within the confines of its 26-minute runtime. There is no escaping the truth that the world is on fire right now, but there is also no reason to believe we won’t find a way to douse the flames in the future.
Endtroducing era drums beckon you into the introduction, before the bass begins to thunder through, the samples let rip and the vocals pour forth.

Despite the solo nature of the production, it’s not a one man show throughout, as Zoutr brings in some of his favourites to bless the mic. The likes of Snowy, Karizma and Micky Grim all bring their distinctive flavours to the mix, adding extra strength to an already potent blend.
